Welcome to The Lodge of Concord No. 6859

We meet 9 times a year at Queen Street Masonic Temple, a historic grade I listed building situated in the East End of Sunderland and has been the home of Freemasonry in Sunderland since 1785.

Our members come from all walks of life. We enjoy an excellent social network which encompasses Masons, partners, families and friends.

We pride ourselves on supporting a wide range of charitable causes for those less fortunate than ourselves and who are in need and distress.

If you are interested in becoming a Freemason or if you would like more information, please contact our secretary by completing our contact form.  He will be able to answer any questions you or your partner may have about Freemasonry in general and to satisfy any reservations and concerns you may have about the ideals of Freemasonry.

If you are already a Mason who is unattached from a lodge or if you have relocated to Sunderland or its surrounding areas, we would be very pleased to welcome you to our group.

Interested in becoming a Freemason

Freemasonry means different things to each of those who join. For some, it’s about making new friends and acquaintances. For others it’s about being able to help deserving causes – making a contribution to family and society. But for most, it is an enjoyable hobby.
